Julia Butterfly

Julia Butterfly did an amazing thing by living in a tree to save it's life, to bring world attention to what deforestation is doing to our planet. But soon after agreements were made with Pacific Lumber Co., for the tree's life to be spared, she and her associates paid $50,oo0 for it, the tree was chainsawed around the base to kill it.

Take the time to read the comments on youtube by a user called DK0526. People like that will never change. This is why our world is in the trouble it's in. Some people will not believe that the world is loosing it's resources to a point where our very own survival will be effected. They won't believe it until the very last fish is dead, the very last tree is gone, the sky is a dingy gray, ice caps are all melt, ocean is toxic, etc. What do you do with people who have such passion for their denial to the point that they hate with a vengeance someone who's trying to do good? It's very scary deaing with someone who points the finger and claims other's are crazy when they lack the perspective of seeing that what they accuse other's of they are actually that themselves. I feel true fear for animals and children too small to protect themselves, not fast enough to run and hide who are in the path of men like this, because nothing matters except what matters only to themselves. Who knows what they do behind closed doors or out of view of others, harm, death and destruction left in their wake. I think the only hope is that they eat their read meat, so much red meat and clog their arteries until they die early from a heart attack, because nothing is gong to change how these sort of men view the world. They're selfish, greedy, ignorant and see life only through a tunnel vision.
